Our patient, a young middle aged concierge in a local 5 star hotel and a movie extra, had a history periodontal disease and deteriorating dentition.
Like most people diagnosed with severe gum disease, she had been anquishing over her oral health and
the costs involved. As the procrastination continued, it came to the point where none of the upper teeth could be saved.
Yet another milestone of procrastination emerged: The thought of removing her remaining upper teeth and wearing a denture was emotionally traumatic and proved to be as debilitating as the diagnosis of periodontitis. Again.... she delayed having anything done.

It wasn't long until the inconvenience of infection and pain (multiple abscesses, eating pain, loose teeth) and teeth beginning to break helped her get over the emotional hurdle.

In under just one week, the patient had accommodated to her custom denture quite well and was actually receiving healthy, self confidence building compliments about her "new smile."
It didn't take long for her self esteem and overall confidence to soar.
Our last post op treatment photo readily shows the impact that custom aesthetic denture products can have.... as opposed to the average denture.
As a movie extra, our patient is now getting more character roles with increased visibility and actor dialogue. She has acquired professional actor's portfolio of extreme close up shots... something she would have never considered before being fitted with her custom dentures.
For the future she plans to convert her cosmetic denture to a palateless implant supported prosthesis.
