DR. JOSEFINA VAZQUEZ

Dr. Josefina Vazquez became licensed at the Institute of Higher Education and Medical Sciences in Villaclara, Cuba, where she received the Valedictorian Student Award before achieving her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1987. She practiced general dentistry in Cuba, Spain, and the USA for more than 30 years, and as an orthodontist for more than 15 of those years. She received advanced training in the Postdoctoral Orthodontics program at the Mississippi University of Madrid in Spain, which she completed in 2008. Dr. Vazquez went on to become licensed in America by going to Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, New Jersey. There she received the American Association of Public Health Dentistry Award and completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2020. Afterward, she worked at Sage Dental and other private practices for three years before purchasing the practice in 2023. Her goal as a dentist is to seek excellence in personal and professional treatment using modern technologies and continuous training. To achieve this, she never stops improving her knowledge with continuing education courses. She is a certified Perio Protect® provider and an Invisalign® provider and enjoys helping our patients achieve a healthy mouth and beautiful smile which improves their overall health, self-esteem, and quality of life.
